ESL – English School Lyon operates independently and receives no public funding.

This autonomy allows us to maintain high educational standards and to develop a learning environment that fully reflects our values.

Tuition fees paid by families represent the school’s primary source of funding.

They directly contribute to:

-the recruitment of qualified, international teaching staff,

-maintaining small class sizes,

-the daily upkeep and maintenance of the school,

-the regular renewal of educational and digital resources,

-the continuous improvement of facilities and learning spaces.

This financial commitment enables ESL to provide children with a strong, personalised, and bilingual education, grounded in active learning and a caring, supportive environment.

€300 per child

Registration Fee:

€500 per child

Tuition Fees Include:

-Bilingual French/English classes held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

-Morning childcare from 7:45 am to 9:00 am and after-school childcare from 4:30 pm to 6:20 pm

-Wednesday childcare from 7:45 am to 6:20 pm

Tuition Fees – PS to CM (Preschool to Primary):

-First child: €500 / month (over 10 months)

-Second child: €450 / month (over 10 months)

Tuition Fees – TPS (Very Early Years):

-Full days: €850 / month (over 10 months)

Tuition fees may be paid in 1, 3, or 10 instalments.

Families may benefit from a 50% tax credit, up to €2,300 per year, for after-school childcare expenses, per child under the age of 6, in accordance with French tax regulations.

Lunch and Mealtimes

Lunch is a moment of sharing, but also an important learning opportunity, helping children develop healthy eating habits and understand the importance of nutrition for their well-being.

For this reason, our meals are:

-designed by nutritionists specialised in children’s nutrition,

-prepared mainly with fresh ingredients and delivered to the school daily,

-available with vegetarian options,

-flexible, with the option of bringing a lunchbox (even without a formal care plan).

-School lunch: €7.90 per meal

-Lunchbox: €5.00 per meal

Billing

Meals are billed monthly.

After-School Activities

We offer a wide range of optional after-school activities.

Registration is for the entire school year.

Fees
